Hello Folks,

This is for all British Fournier addicts.

Several of us in England are forming a ten-member RF5 group, and there might be vacancies for a couple of members.

The aeroplane is on an LAA Permit to Fly (nice and cheap).
It has a very sound airframe (zero wing-folding mechanism play etc), a good Barry Smith engine and a radio, but needs a little TLC.
It will get this plus Permit renewal within the month, courtesy of Dave Bland at Chris Rollings's Tiger Airways.
They will overhaul magneto, carb and fuel pump, and replace spark plugs, leads and all flexible hoses, so that it is thoroughly reliable.

The nominal base will be Seighford, Stafford, since hangarage there is so reasonable, but with group members all over the country, the plan is that each member can take it to their home base for a couple of weeks at a time during the flying season.

A one-tenth share will cost just £2,600, with another £400 to cover the Permit renewal and to start a contingencies kitty.

Flying cost is likely to be £25 per hour (beat that for a two-seater if you can) with a paltry £20 monthly apiece for overheads.

This is your chance to introduce family and friends to the wonders and delights of Fournication.
