I found that the instrument isolators are very similar to bmw motorcycle isolators i will try to get you part numbers (friend is parts manager of honda, bmw dealership and newtobe pilot at age 55) you are never too late to learn to fly (unless you are dead, whole other subject)). They are a little pricey and a little shorter but same metric size and useabe with a extender threaded tube. Love to have mounts and stops have three planes to outfit. p.s. can i afford to outfit them? any ballpark on price? thanks for listening

I could use a new tailwheel bumper, so please include one for me. Thanks Collin.

A question: Is there really a need for the instrument panel isolators? I don't have them on my RV and most planes don't have them. Does the VW make more vibration? Are there some RF-specific instruments (like the Vario) that are more sensitive to vibration? I had not planned to put them on my new panel.

Please send a set of rubber engine mounts and rear tail wheel bump stops for me as well--if still possible.

Hi All,

Is this “sagging” of the engine mounts a common occurrence? My rubber inserts are (at least) 12 years old, as I can tell from the spray paint on them.

Last weekend I noticed that the lower edge of the spinner back plate is starting to touch the lower cowling – not good. The upper mounts seem to come out a bit ore than the lower mounts, just by eye balling the set-up.

Should I replace the inserts or can I just bend the crankshaft up a bit for now to get more clearance for the spinner…;-)

Alternatively, Eugenio, could you e-mail me at timkroeger@danfoss.com with availability and payment method for the correct replacement inserts. Many thanks in advance.
