Hi Bob,

My friends Scheibe SF-28 Tandem Falke with a Limbach has a Zenith RXZ carb.

Here is a Limbach tech. bulletin listing to the Zenith carb.

Thanks very much Collin.

I'll try to get to see one, then I'll try to persuade the authorities.

Do you happen to know if the Falke uses a separate carb heat system, or just uses hot air from the lower cowling like the Fournier?

Yours, Bob

Hi Bob
I think its a seperate system and was mandated by the CAA when the type was introduced to the UK.
Coops.

Hello,

I think the Limbach/Scheibe install ran engine oil throw the plenum.

Thanks Guys,

Using this info, maybe I'll be able to get the LAA to approve a capacity increase but staying with the Zenith carb rather than change to the bulky Stromberg CD150 that Francis prefers. I'll let you all know how I get on.

Yours, Bob
