Alfred asked me to post a short info as shown below. Alfred unfortunately speaks no english, so if there are any questions, or orders as the case may be, send me a PM and I will try and help. I have a set of Alfred's shocks on my RF 3 and can vouch for the fact that they are fairly easy to install. Unfortunately I can't compare them to the original rubber shocks, since mine were shot when I got the plane and I was thus able to fly with them.

Regards
Lutz

Dear CFI Members

Just a short information to let you know that I have several sets of undercarriage shock absorbers for the RF 3 and 4/4b available for sale. These are used to replace the original rubber shock absorbers. They come with all the required paperwork, installation instructions and, most importantly, are maintenance free. If you are intersested in a set, please get in touch with me.

Regards
Alfred Scherer

Does he mention how much they cost?

Hi Bob

Apologies for the tardy reply, but Alfred still hasn't gotten back to me. I seem to recall paying around €250 for my set, which I bought a year or so ago. Don't take this number as gospel, but it should put you more or less in the ballpark. I will post an actual price once I hear back from Alfred.

Edit: Just got an email from Alfred, €250 is the correct price. P&p will be another €30 outside of Germany.

Regards
Lutz
