Hi Fournieteers,
it's a bit quiet on the forum nowadays and I confess not beeing very active lately. Hope that will change though as this spring has started pretty promising. We had the Swedish Championships in skatesailing in Stockholm last Sunday (two days ago) and today the weather was just perfect for a spin with the 4. And what do you know- I met several pack of cranes on their northward migration! So once again a spring greeting from Mr and Mrs crane and wishing you all a good year of Fournierflying!

May the 4's be with you/ Jörgen

Hi Jörgen.
Really nice picture made me get an even bigger urge to fly.
Hopefully we will start to put XSK:s engine back together on saturday and hopefully it won't take too long after that to have it fully assembled.
After that it's just the matter of getting it mounted, run it in and make test flights with the new propeller to a degree that EAA will be satisfied with and then we will fly as usual again .
Will have to be satisfied with flying my friends RF5, the clubs gliders and SF25 until XSK is back in the air.

That is great news Jorgen,

I apologise that I have made very few posts in the past three years.

Recently I have done very little Fournier flying because of family problems, and you all know who caused my problems before that, but now everything is sorted and I hope to be Fournierflying again tomorrow,

I will post photos and news just as soon as I can.

Let us hope that 2016 will be a great year for Fournication!

Yours, Bob

Hi Jordan,

Very cool picture. Makes me want to leave work early to go fly. I just finished my annual this morning. I have not flown the RF5B since October.

I have been working on Turbocharging our Karmann Ghia. The engine started as a 1951 25hp. Now 1568cc, Okrasa dual port heads, Dynoed at 218hp @ 7,300rpm. 14psi boost (.95 bar)

OK, so it's not strictly Springsoaring, but it is spring flying.
There is nothing quite so absolutely delightful than flying gentle spring aerobatics in one of René's wonderful aeroplanes!

Yours, Bob
