Great joke James!
I've just been on the phone with my own son James, 30 -- deckhand and second engineer on a super yacht, based in Monaco, but currently undergoing refit in northern Italy.
First flight for him was in the back seat of an open-cockpit Tiger Club Stampe when he was one year old.
His mum wore the 5-point main harness, and he wore the back-up seat belt on her lap.
It was only 15 minutes to a fly-in, but half-way there the engine stopped, shortly followed by my heart!
I reached out to close the thottle before investigating further, and found it was already shut.
That red knob in the rear cockpit had looked so inviting, and he just had to reach out and pull on the bloody thing!
Words were exchanged with his mum on the intercom, she restrained his hands, and we got there OK.
It took a while for my heart-rate to subside to normal though!
Memories, memories.
You gotta start them young though.
Yours, Bob
