Hi Guys,
Thanks Steve, I may have to investigate Nextflix because free-to-air TV is also mostly rubbish in both Britain and Australia these days (although we did enjoy Anthony Hopkins inFracture last night.
Unfortunately much the same can be said of the majority of Hollywood movies (Sully excepted, of course).
I hadn't even considered foreign films, but that sounds like a great idea!
Jorgen, I would venture to suggest that your paint cracking issue is one of insufficient plasticity in the paint. The paint/fabric combo will still flex, and the paint will still crack, even if stitched, surely? The things about rib-stitching (and knotting) are that they are incredibly time-consuming, plus they ruin the aerodynamics along and around every rib. Plus the cost and weight, of course. The RF3 & 4's wings were specifically designed with wide, bevelled ribs to make stitching unneccessary, so that is the way to go, I reckon!
Yours, Bob
