Some great photos there Sam,

I'm gonna make a prediction...

One day, not so very far in the future (maybe only twenty or thirty years ahead) you will want to by back 'The Zipper'.
If you can't get it, you will buy some other Fournier.

Just look at all us old guys.

Many of us flew Fourniers several decades ago, and some of us have flown a great number of other types in the interim (230+ in my case) but we all come back to the little RF4D, because it represents the best compromise and combination of attributes for a reasonable price and low running costs.

Good luck with selling it, and I hope you don't miss it too much.

Yours, Bob

Sorry to keep bugging you Sam,
but I couldn't help thinking of you guys yesterday when this Swedish friend suddenly calls me and tells me he just bought an RF 4 from the UK. He was part owner of another RF 4 (actually SE-TGX who contributed the tail to SE-XSK, the other Swedish RF 4) 20 years ago and he just had to get back in one again......

I guess I'm trying to say I think you are an honorary Fournieteer Sam and be advised that is widely considered a chronic condition

May the 4's be with you/ Jörgen

You're a young man Sam and I guess you feel the need to move on, but my first thought on reading this was 'one day you'll regret it'. However, that's another old fart talking and no one can tell another what to do so good luck with your next mount, whatever it may be.

Hi everyone,
