Hi Paul.
I have used all sorts of wheels as tailwheels. Mini scooter wheels work well on grass, because being narrow they dig in a bit to help you slow down and have no sideslip when steering. You will need a few washers between the wheel and the arm because the wheels are so slim. Pick an alloy one with a 50kg rating.
Rollerblade wheels also work, but you need more washers or proper spacers.
I currently use a homemade wheel in England and a nasty cheap Chinese trolley wheel in Oz.
Matthew had some wheels he said were the correct part, but their roller bearings were much bigger diameter than the through bolt, so special spacers had to be turned up on a lathe.
Not having a lathe, I went for the mini-scooter option.
Good luck.
See you again in a couple of weeks, I hope.
Yours, Bob
