Thought I'd throw this out for consideration and comments. I'm thinking of a cover for day or overnight use when away from the home field hangar.
Several planes at my field, parked outside, are fitted with Bruce's Canopy Covers www.aircraftcovers.com Just out of curiosity I contacted them for a quote on their "TRAVEL-COVER Light Weight Travel Canopy Cover" which is cheaper and lighter than their standard canopy cover. I don't have a firm quote yet but based on a Fournier being similar in canopy size to a Mooney Mite, the price should be around $275. Don't know if there is any discount for multiple purchases.
I might pursue this if anyone else is interested, but also interested in hearing about less expensive alternatives, or why this is completely unnecessary.
