Hi Steve, Collin,

It's great to be a captain again. Please can I leave my rank at that, however many more posts I make? Thanks.

Also, I've lost both your e-mail addresses when my computer died, but I have a pdf of my latest Fournier article, plus a jpeg of an earlier one for the site. Where do I send them?

Finally, I have a nice video clip of Matthew's aeroplane's first post-restoration flight.
It is 10 mins and 51.5Mb.
I posted it on YouTube, but they've deleted the sound track, with all its narration, interviews etc because it has some music on a small part of it.

Is it possible to post a proper copy on the site somethow, so that it's only available for forum members or Fournier enthusisasts?

Thanks.

Yours, Bob

Hi Captain Bob,

The software that operates this forum generates those titles automatically. The more you post in a given period, the higher your rank becomes. I can attempt to modify the software to keep the rank fixed, but it would be tricky

You can email the articles and videos to Collin or to me, and we can host them and provide web links to the new locations. Since the CFI website is the proper home for such things though, Collin would be the better bet.

Hi Steve,

Thanks. If it does not involve a whole lot of time and effort, I would be really grateful if you can modify the software to retain my rank.

It is clear that the movie clips will be too big to e-mail, so I'll burn them on to a CD and mail them to Collin.

I'll try e-mailing the pdfs & jpegs of the articles, and see how that works.

Thanks again for all you work on this site, it is an utterly invaluable resource.

Yours, Bob

Bob,
I wonder if you have really thought this one through. There is a remote possibility that the site software is just about to appoint you "Air Vice Marshal Fourniever". After that you might be knighted- are you prepared to give all that up?

May the 4´s be with you/ Jörgen
