Joe Foley inaugurates the 2012 Fournicating season at the Delaware municipal airport in Ohio.
What more could anyone need?

Great picture!
I see Joe has fitted an inneredgepostspoilertripwireboundarylayercontrol-stripe. Cool!
Or is it just a shadow?

Where Fourniers are concerned, 4WD trucks (in this case a Series 3 Land Rover) can be very useful.
Dragging WGN into the hangar after it got bogged down in the mud outside.
It has been a wonderful summer (not!)

Been there, done that too, Bob.
Sunk to the wheel axle and had to be dragged out with a tractor. A good measure of my buddy Sten was that he came top speed, aborting his Harley trip when I called- and apologized to me for having to wait! Not much of a summer in Sweden either, but actually quite a few days with unstable= thermal conditions, not something a glider club would start up it's operations for, but I've managed to time it right on a number of occasions and gotten some FournierSoaring before overdevelopment + rain.

Two convertibles.
OK....it's not a truck.
At least the engine has horizontally opposed cylinders--so it has some redeeming qualities.

Nice Porsche 911 along with your RF5B.
Now I have to go out and snap a pic with my Porsche 986 and the RF4D.
Here's just the car for now.

Aha!
...and here's my convertible/cabrio....
I apologise that it doesn't have a horizontally-opposed engine, but at least the driver is air-cooled!
Land Lover, the best four-by-four by far!

Considered replacing my Porsche with a 60's Land Rover similar to yours. Decided it wouldn't fare well in Seattle traffic. Great vehicle, though.

Great vehicle indeed!
I don't know- I don't think Ferdinand Porshe had much to do with this one and it's certainly not horisontally opposed, and I doubt you guys would call it a truck. Anyway, my wife got tired of the Volvo and she likes the colour red. So she wanted this one.
Did I tell you I love my wife?
Getting time to close up the season here, but fall flying has it's merits too.
Öresund with the bridge between Sweden and Denmark to the left.
