Hi all.
I am slowly re-building G-BIIF.

Does anyone know a source of a trim mechanism? ie. the cockpit lever & mounting.
Were they common to any other vehicles being produced at the same time?
I gather that the gear wheel within it is available from Airworld (Pt No 400849).

They were used in some Jodels, which will be why Airworld UK has the gear wheel. I got a complete assembly, the lever, its housing the gear wheel and the cable, from Airworld a long long time ago. 16 or 17 years ago! I needed the control lever but could not figure out how to install the cable down the fuselage and perhaps 12 years later sold that on to a local Jodel 1050 group. By then Airworld could not supply the whole thing.

I though Tony Hoskins had G-BIIF. has it changed hands?

Thanks, I tried Airworld who suggested waiting till someone parts out a Jodel.
Yep, it's just me now, been so for nearly a year or so.
I understand that there may still be a supplier in France.
I'll persue the lead I have on that. Thanks anyway.

Donald

Yes, unfortunately I had to sell my interests in BIIF very early this year due to a customer invoice that went unpaid. A great shame, but at least I will be on hand to assist on its road to completion.

Kevin,

It's possible I may have some of my original parts, perhaps the lever and the housing, but not the gear wheel. I'm pretty sure the bracket is a separate part but could, I'm sure, be easily manufactured.
