Hello,

Does Heikki Nummela record still hold for 372 loops in 1 hour? He used a RF4D.

I believe I saw somewhere that the record was broken. Can't find in it anywhere in the net. The plane Heikki used, was OH-367X (originally OH-FIA, later OH-367), a modified RF4D with 1700 cc engine. According to him it is perfectly safe to fly one 350 km/h (round 220 mph or 190 kts) Mr. Nummela sadly passed away in an ultralight accident in Spain several years ago.

Chaps is that not a loop every 9.7 seconds?
How long does it take you from entry to exit??
220mph is that not 65mph over VNE ?

I feel this could be one for Mythbusters!
