It is with great shame that I'm going to have to part with my RF4 project, the guy I share it with has decided he wants to spend more on gliding and on reflection, I've had the Fournier for two years and we've not had time to do anything to it. I lost this summer to a move to a new workshop and we're fully booked with glider and motorglider maintenance through to May 2013. With another big project booked for next summer, then further winter maintenance and some other pre-booked restoration work, I dont have a spare slot for me until late summer 2014, by which time she will have been collecting dust for 4 years - not where she belongs.

Lots and lots of parts, fuselage, metal wing parts, spoilers, engine, prop, new spinner, cowls, tail feathers, main gear, cowls, moulds for cowls, too much to list here. Will be working through a full inventory with Matt Hill shortly, but interested parties to get in touch with me in the first instance on tony@thegliderworkshop.co.uk.

It will go on AFORS later this week

As my secretary said - work harder and in two years, just buy one already built - I can see her point unfortunately!

A solution has been found, thankfully a local pilot and fellow Fournier Enthusiast has stepped forward and picked up my partners half share, so some new enthusiasm is there for the project and it gets to stay local. A happy ending that will only be happier when its up and flying.

Hi Tony,

I'm delighted to hear that BIIF is staying in Sussex.

Good luck, God-speed with the rebuild.

Yours, Bob
