Now that I have sold my RF5B (divorce) I now need to repair my SZD 41A that I bought prior to N99814.The Jantar was landed short went through a ditch, which folded the gear, and crumpeled the steel tube center section, the ship than went through the boundry fence, taking chunks out of the leading edge of the wing. The problem is finding the steel parts, as there are very few 41A's here in the states. I am hoping that some of you may have contacts in Europe that may help me find some used parts.
Both of my ships N99814, and the Jantar were imported by Collin's dad, and I bought both prior to ever meeting Collin, small world!
Fly safe out there, bodies harder to fix than airframes.

But the parts are easier to find.

I'm in touch with the new TC Holder of PZL gliders, Allstar PZL Gliders, but they support only the SZD48 Jantar Standard 3. Maybe the fittings are the same. If you can send me more details I can check. I don't think you can find used fittings.

4 years ago I was quoted $10000 for one part from the North America rep. I am hoping that there is one that has been rolled in a ball, busted up tailcone, and wings. The other plan is to build up from scratch from existing attach points ,as long as it is strong, and the gear, and controls work,it flys under experimental . If I was an engineer I would modify with composite bulkheads, and do away with the steel truss structure.
