I flew my RF5B to Ohio last year and enjoyed being away & the scenery. If I can, I'd like to take another trip this year in maybe June or July.

I think a loop across southern ID, then up through Wyoming, Montanna & back through central WA would have a lot of nice scenery.

My guess is that I'll pick an approximate route, develop a list of places that would be nice to stop -- then let the weather and inspiration determine the specifics during the trip. The weather may cause the route to be flown in reverse. My guess is that it would be from one weekend to the next. I'd rather take my time and fly/soar over interesting areas than just try to fly maximum distance.

- If any of you have flown in these areas & can suggest interesting stops/routes, please do.

- I'd also be open to others joining me in their aircraft for all or part of the trip.

James
