Young Pitts flier Lauren Richardson derided my RF4D's slow roll rate, so I challenged her to fly a ten-second roll herself, just so that she could see how easy it is to fly a roll in a Pitts compared with the skill required to roll a Fournier.
Silly me!

Having done that, in retaliation she challenged me to fly a Super Slow Roll.
A super-slow roll in contest aerobatics is one taking more than fifteen seconds to perform.
I think this one took eighteen seconds:

She countered that with a 28-second roll, so I conceded defeat.

As I told her, 'Not having any inverted systems, with the inexorable loss of airspeed, if I tried a 30-second SS Roll I would become stationary half-way around!'
It's not often I acknowledge anybody's superiority, but in this case I'm beaten!
Happy experimenting.
Yours, Bob
