This Forum has tended to cncentrate on René's RF3s, RF4Ds and RF5/5Bs, but he made several other magnificent designs.
Among them was the delightful and dainty Rolls Royce/Continental O-200-powered 100hp wooden RF6B two-seat aerobatic trainer that eventually begat the heavier glassfibre Slingsby T-67M-260 military trainer that was used all over the world.
Like so many military aeroplanes, they managed to spoil the original design by nearly doubling its weight and wing-loading, and, to compensate, nearly tripling its horesepower.
After 47 years of Fournier flying I have at last sampled this most lovely little aeroplane and two of them are for sale very cheaply, but regrettably I cannot buy either.
This is Tizi Hodson's Fournier RF6B.
It is the most dainty, responsive and intuitive two-seat aeroplane I have flown for many years.
It is an absolute delight to fly, very easy, and of course, like all René's best designs, extremely strong and fully aerobatic to +6/-4G.
Tizi has two of these classic Fourniers for sale in Gloucester, England — the yellow one is in full flying order but needs an annual inspection on 18th February 2018, while the other black one
has been re-covered and painted with a sunburst upper wing and tail surface scheme and is ready to be reassembled although it's lacking an engine, prop or instruments.
Yellow G-BKIF was also re-covered and painted a few years ago, both of them by skilled Fournier restorer & expert, Dave Bland.

Prices are negotiable with some urgency involved so you could probably get both for £15,000 or perhaps even less.
I would love to buy them, because with a can of black paint you could have two matching aeroplanes — one yellow and black and the other black and yellow to make a superb two-ship display team. Regrettably, because I already have five aircraft, one of which requires a complete rebuild, I just do not have the space to house them nor the time to reassemble the black one.
To find out more, or to buy one or both, call Ray on (+44 or 0) 7935 641756.
Meanwhile, I wish you all a fun-filled 2018 with lots and lots of Fournier flying.
Happy New Year, Bob
