Hi all from sunny South Africa,
In the middle of a restoration of our RF4D so went out and bought for the East Rand Gliding club a RF5B that had come available. Serail No 51046 and I think originally registered in USA as N55RW. Re-Registered in RSA as ZS-GUF.
Anybody know the history of the aircraft in USA?
Also has throttle only in the front seat. Anybody know of mod/fitting for throttle control front and back?
Thanks in advance
Ollie

Hello,

N55RW was deregistered is the USA 04/03/1997. I am guessing Bert Buytendyk (Sport-Aviation) imported it when new. He was the East Coast importer based out of Wooster Ohio. My RF5B was also imported by Bert. (N55SM #51053)
