Hi Ray,

Phil Paul is the pilot in the picture. It is over Lancaster, California. My Dad and Phil were partners of Aerosport Inc from early '70-'80s. They sold Blaniks, Jantars, Pilatus B-4, Wilga 35 and Sportavia RF5B.

While I was out doing taxi tests, a neighbor came over and was very excited to say that he had flown a Fournier. His name is Steve Root and he is in his mid 80's. He looked in his log book and discovered he had flown N1771 in Issaquah, WA between October, 1969 and April 1970. I sent him a few pictures and he was delighted to see them.

Wow, thats interesting.
It sounds like N1771 really got around quite a bit and made quite a few people smile.

I'm still curious about its time in Alaska too, and wondered what adventures occured out there.
