Hi Guys,
We only fly with our aerobatic fuel caps, but we have dipsticks and dip the fuel after every landing to monitor consumption. In-flight we use elapsed time and the known consumption of a particular rpm setting/throttle position.
Dipsticks work well with that round-bottomed tank, provided you dangle the dipstick vertically from your fingers into the fuel.
Any slim bit of dowel about eighteen inches ling will do.
