Hi Guys,
At the reccommendation of somebody here, I've been posting my photos on ImageShack.
It now tells me that unless I pay them $2 per month, they will start deleting my older images after 1st October -- That's next week.
I regard that as blackmail, so I shall not be doing it.
If any of you want to copy any of my 475 photos for future reference, you had better get going!
Yours, Bob

Bob,
Does this mean that all of your posts on this forum will begin losing their photos? If so, can you post the url for your ImageShack album so we can review?
Maybe you could begin a relocation of your images to another hosting service.

We need the link to your image shack album. It would be an aweful shame to loose them all.

Given a link to the current Imageshack album, I can probably automatically update the forum to point to a new site.

Hi Guys,
When I go to my photos on ImageShack, the page that comes up is http://imageshack.us/v_images.php
...but that web address seems much too short, so I'll ping Steve a PM with my user name and password.
If you could host all our photos Steve, that would seem to be ideal.
I try to keep file sizes to around 200-300kb to minimise not only storage space, but page occupancy and upload time when opening a Fournier Forum page.
Yours, Bob

It turns out that what ImageShack is saying is that you get space for 500 pictures for free and you have almost used up that quota. If you upload too many more, they will have to delete old pictures to make room for the new ones. Alternatively, you can pay a couple of bucks and upload as many as you like.
So I don't think you are going to lose any pictures, unless you upload a bunch of new ones and so go over your free quota.
I'll work on rescuing them anyway just in case.

Hi Guys,
I also use ImageShack and so far have it's been a good experience. However, my general impression of "free" services on the internet is that as the services are upgraded or developed, various fees are often introduced. I guess there just ain't no free lunches.
Thanks Steve and Collin for your service and commitment.
May the 4's be with you/ Jörgen
