Another flight showing some of the nice scenery in the Pacific Northwest.
This time, the passenger was a young woman from Taiwan. Interesting situation where she had so many questions and talked so much that we were more than an hour longer than expected preparing to fly and a lunch stop took an unusually long time as well. This posed no problem for the flight itself, but put us into the warmth and turbulence of the afternoon. For the return leg, we had to get on the ground as quickly as possible as the warmth and bouncing did not agree with her stomach. She did not get sick, but another 15 minutes in the air might have had a different outcome. Not feeling well is not what I want people remembering about their flights. Something to manage better.
This video shows more of Puget Sound. We flew into Arlington Airport for lunch. You can see the local glider club ops as we fly out.

This one shows some of the Cascade Mountains, just to the east of the field I fly from.
