Does anybody know where the RF3/RF4D's main wheels came from, or have a part number or any clue as to where to get a new one?
I had assumed that, like its brakes, the wheel was from a 1960s Vespa, but Vespa experts tell me the smallest ever Vespa wheel was eight inches in diameter and held together with four bolts, while the RF4 has a five inch wheel and only three bolts. Later Vespas had even bigger wheels with more bolts.
As you can see from the front wheel in this photo of an early Vespa, the brake drum is significantly smaller than its wheel, which is why it works on a Fournier.

I would be very grateful for any clues to help me find a new wheel.
Thanks, Bob
