I can't seem to get the Search function to work any more.
Even with a simple search word like 'rudder', I'm getting a 'nothing found' message.
Is this another iPad issue?
Are other members having the same trouble?
Yours, Bob

The search function has been restored.
A few days ago I turned on "Accept new members" for about 60 seconds so that I could add our newest member. During that brief time, someone hacked into the forum and posted something inappropriate. It seems the method I used to remove that broke the database.
I make a backup every day, so it was not too hard to restore the working version.

Wow!
You can't turn your back for a moment to these cyber-thugs!
Thank you very much for restoring the search Steve, and for backing-up everything every day.
I cannot imagine how much effort you put into keeping this site going for us, and I have to say we are all extremely grateful for your efforts on our behalf.
Yours, Bob

Sorry Steve, but it seems to have failed again.
I can't get a result for 'canopy', which I suspect is pretty unlikely.

Searching for "canopy" gives me 99 threads (4 pages). I tried it both logged in and not.
Are you getting an error message of any sort?

I am unable to duplicate your problem this time Bob. I too got 99 matches for the word "canopy".

Yes, it's working fine now.
I tried twice before, and got no error message, just 'no matches found' or similar.
I guess it must have been finger-trouble on my part.
Sorry, Bob
