Congratulations,
thanks for sharing. Good timing, it's the season for building- aren't you pretty much covered in snow in Switzerland right now?

Please keep us updated!

May the 4's be with you/ Jörgen

Hi Roger
I'm happy that I could give you that contact, now you don't have to start building from zero point

More good news (for me). The EAS (experimental Aircraft Switzerland) have sanctioned the build and My inspector has passed of the components from Finland, most of the wood required has been planed to size, spliced and glued. Now i shall be building the "Strongback" to assemble the fuselage.

The prospective engine has been stripped down and the crank has been X-Rayed, all the new components have been sourced and are in the Workshop ready for the re-assembly. the only old original bits are the crank, case and rods, everything else is new so zero timed. I still have the decision to make about the Ignition and the carburation but have shortlisted Stromberg 150 CD and for the ignition Leburg dual plug. Which reminds me i have to drill and tap the heads for the dual plugs.

Well the PIK is no longer in switzerland and Happy days, it has been accepted by the IAA (which would you believe they wanted a POH and it isn't even built yet). It has the reserved EI number of EI-XTM like the prototype. The sinner is here now and the building nights are upon us. The woodburner is lit and off we go.

That is excellent news Roger,

Happy Days indeed.

Once the aircraft has a registration it truly exists. In the blind eyes of bureaucracy anyway.

May the build progress with great speed.

Onwards and upwards, Bob
