The shot over the bow of the USS Midway was special. Our clearance was at or below 500’, which our flight leader obeyed to the letter.

Good food Thursday evening of Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Friday evening catered Mexican Fiesta Feast, and Saturday evening we were treated to an Incredible Meat Lover’s Banquet from Katie & Bruce Overson’s Tri-Tip Roasts.
All in all good times were had by all as we were fortunate to favorable flying weather the entire time. Marcus Ruesch was nice enough to give a lesson of acrobatics to Doug Bothel while flying A-76. As Doug puts it, “a very humbling experience”.
