Hi Folks,

I have discovered, as I crawl around these little aeroplanes, that in odd places there are blue Dymo tape labels, apparently identifying each major component.

The format seems to be LFC/ (the last three letters of the registration) / (a number pertaining to the component.)

Thus G-AWGN's fuel tank has this plate: LFC/WGN/10

and its fin (vertical stabilizer) has this plate: LFC/WGN/2

I have four questions.

Do all Fourniers have these tags?
Does anybody know what LFC stands for?
Where is the fuselage tag?
Where is the wing tag?

WGN does not have its original fuselage, and I cannot find such a tag (presumably LFC/WGN/1) anywhere.
but I also cannot find such a tag on HDO, nor on either wing, so now I am confused.

Yours, Bob

As far as I know no data plate was used on Fournier parts, you can find stamps inside the structure, and only one data plate with the aircraft registration in the cabin or below the stabilizer.
Probably somebody enjoied labelling the aircraft with a Dymo.
Also the fin one looks a Dymo lately painted with the fin itself.

ciao

Eugenio
