Hello Fellow Fournicators,

Now that I have triple smoke trails I think it's easier to see what my graceful little aeroplane is doing, so I've made up a brief video depicting the five most basic aerobatic manoeuvres...

The wing-over (or chandelle), the aileron (or ballistic) roll, the loop, the barrel roll and the quarter-clover.

No, my flying is not perfect — I am only a mere human being.

And no, the cameras following me aren't perfect either, for both the same reason and the fact that I was battling a strong off-crowd wind and therefore making some unpredictable changes to my previously rehearsed figures.

But I think you can get a fair idea of what one is trying to achieve.

Remember, this is merely supplementary information to enhance proper, professional on-board aerobatic instruction. Although extremely strong, the RF4D is not an aeroplane in which to teach onesefl aerobatics. No aeroplane is.

Go out there and have fun flying these manouvres in an appropriate aeroplane with your favourite instructor.

Happy Fournier frolicking, Bob
