I think I may have invented (quite deliberately) a new manoeuvre recently.
I was dissatisfied with my humpty-bumps. The radius wasn't tight enough https://youtu.be/8XiytM79u2Y @ 2:33
So, instead of drawing a proper, contest-type true radius, I went straight up (with the stick gradually going forwards to hold that upright line).
Then, when the airspeed drops through 10kt — still with full throttle and lots of left rudder & aileron to counteract the mahoosive torque.
I just pop the stick back the tiniest bit and she neatly swaps ends, pivoting around that long wing in pitch.
There's plenty of elevator to push the stick hard forward as the nose gets to within about thirty degrees of the down-vertical and nail it precisely.
It's OK so long as I don't get too much right yaw, in which case all that smoke comes straight into the cockpit and I go completely IMC in there.
It's a cross between a humpty-bump and a tailslide.
I call it, 'the humpty-flop'. 😂😂😂😂
