The range is the Pyrénées mountains, the natural border between France and Spain. The "Pic du Midi de Bigorre" (on the first picture) is 2876 meters high (9.435 ft). You can make out its astronomical observatory at the top. The highest peak of the Pyrénées is the Aneto, in Spain (3404 m, or 11.168 ft)
