There seems to be extraordinary weather all over the world now. In Scotland they are drowning in torrential rain, in the Southern USA deadly tornadoes, while here in the more Northern states, it is like early summer.

Christmas Eve, and where we would normally be shivering and perhaps digging snow from the driveway, it is 60F/15C, the sun is shining, and the wind is calm. After half an hour of cavorting around the sky, I saw some friends taking off in a Cub and flew alongside for a while. Turns out they had an iPhone to hand and took a couple of pictures.
