In the recent Jungmeister mini-review I wrote that if I ever restore another Jungmann (unlikely) I would put a Jungmeister tail on it. Larry Ernewein had the same thought and is considering trying it this year. The Tigre powered aircraft seem to be the heaviest in pitch so his would be a very interesting experiment.

How does the Bu133 tail differ from the Bu131?

In two ways: The hinge point of the elevators is 18mm further aft, and elevator chord is slightly smaller measuring 27mm less than the Jungmann elevators at the trailing edge. You can see both of those features in the pictures below. (Jungmeister elevator on top)

The horizontal stabilizer requires modification as well of course.

Larry has recently converted a Jungmann tail for another project and like me he wonders how a Jungmann might benefit from such a conversion. The question is: Has anyone tried this before? It's always good to know if anyone has any experience or advice before trying an experiment like this so if you know of anyone trying this before, please let me know and I'll post it here. - Thanks!
