I would like to send out a HUGE thank you to all the Bücker members/friends who helped with this challenging restoration of U90 which as far as I know is the only restoration from modern Lycoming power back to original Seimens power.

It was truly a worldwide scavenger hunt trying to find the original parts other than the complete engine which I had( from trading with David Martin!) and included  N. America, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, New Zealand, Argentina, England, and other countries.

I also want to especially thank Albert and Elizabeth Zeller, Theiry, Brian Karli, John Hickman, Steve Craig, Dave Salinger, Herman Diebold, Dirk Bende, Peter Funk, David Martin, Joe Vasile, Cody Rustin, Thomas Muller Jr. , Jerry Hedrick,Paul Ressle,Gonzalo Figueroa,Paul Russo, Jerry Wells, Danny Cox (FAA), my late wonderful friend Pat Carter who is sorely missed,  Gerd Muehlbauer (MT props) , Kermit Weeks and his Jungmeister restoration expert Kim Kovach, and of course the WONDERFUL restoration shop of Danny Rutten in Havana Fla .(850-556-5711) and his brother Kenny and John Chmura who helped make this miracle happen-turning U90 from a modern aerobatic wonder to original WW2 neutrality dream machine!

The craftsmanship, attention to detail and creation of U90 back to original neutrality colors and configuration was amazing art , engineering ingenuity and old fashion restoration skills! You really feel like you have stepped back into the early 40s when in the cockpit and it flies and sounds like a Stradivarius to me!

Many other experts and friends helped make this multi year dream a reality and I thank you all as well!

Hope you get some good flying weather this weekend.

Thanks again!
Tom
