The EAA B17 "Aluminum Overcast" came to Zanesville Ohio today. It's a beautifully maintained aircraft, but I find the most impressive thing to be its sound, or more accurately its lack of sound. Those four Wright Cyclones are whisper quiet, even without their sound absorbing turbos. I imagine it is operated at power settings much less than in wartime, but impressive none the less.
