The 35th annual US National Bucker Fly-in will be June 22 and 23, 2018, at Santa Paula, California (SZP).  The organizers are Jay Billmayer and Hank Galpin who live in Kalispell, Montana.  Bruce and Janice Dickenson, lifelong denizens of SZP, are helping us as are the Bucker Boys from Gillespie Field in San Diego;  John Hickman, Dave Stillinger, and Chris Overson.

The primary impetus for returning to Santa Paula this year is to honor Joe and Helen Krybus who have supported the worldwide Bucker community for several decades with parts and services.  We could not have operated our iconic aircraft safely without their aid and friendship.

As of this writing we are six weeks out.  Efforts have been made to contact the entire Bucker community, and of this moment we have nine Jungmeisters coming, eight Jungmanns, and 30+ people.  All five of the Krybus-built Jungmeister airframes will be in attendance with at least three flying.

Friday June 22 we may have a drive-out to the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard and a burger fry at the Santa Paula Aviation Museum that evening.  Saturday we may have a fly-out for lunch to Oceano or San Luis Obispo and our infamous awards banquet at the restaurant on the field that evening.

This event is open to Bucker owners and their family members and anyone interested in Bucker aircraft.  There will be a registration fee.
