Many years before our late friend Len Elmendorf built his Jungmeister replica, he built a biplane of his own design that was very much inspired by the Bücker. He called it "Flip-flop", but it was also known as the "Elmendorf special.

Flip-flop has become available for sale, and as you can see in the pictures below, it looks as beautiful as ever.
