Frank famously flew Jungmeisters N78P and N87P (which is pictured below from the Marcus Bates collection via Brian Karli). He experimented with different airfoils, engines, propellers, cowlings and more. Parts were tried on one aircraft, then perhaps the other resulting in it not being entirely certain today which bits belong to which aircraft. I have been told that the logbooks make very interesting reading having a little artistic license here and there.
