As expected, weather conditions allowed my Jungmann's maiden flight this morning. After 46 months of work and struggle, moments of despair and hope, it made the assembly of metal, wood, tubes, sheets, fabric, leather, wires, cables, labour and sweat come an airplane. Moving, indeed.

That was a so delighting 50 minutes flight of mutual domestication, playing with the clouds while checking parameters, and, as every flight on the Jungmann, enjoying and admiring the exhilarating handling qualities of this
magic plane.

Thanks to the understanding and accomodating approach controllers who allowed me to share their airspace with A380 flight-tested prototypes. (Is Toulouse still in Europe??)

And so many thanks to the wide international cooperation that helped me so much and so many times: Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Great Brittain, Spain, Switzerland, United States... isn't it simply fantastic? (Hmmm, Spain: not everybody... drop me an e-mail for details)

Obviously that should not have been possible without the forum: thank you so much, Steve!

Special thanks to Klaus Dietrich and Larry Ernewein who showed me the way so enthusiastically, and to John LaBarre for his ever-present help.
