Here's a neat picture of Mira's Jungmann before he converted to the Lycoming. This was from the archives of Flight International magazine February 1964. Pretty neat!
Actually, you can see all the back issues from the 1930's to the 1990's by clicking on http://www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/index.html
I used a simple search and found lots of great stuff. Several of the 1938/1939 issues had some original advertisements from the Bucker Flugzeugebau.
This picture also came from FLIGHT International 19 April 1980. It's a Spanish CASA G-BECW when it was owned by Neil Jensen and based at Redhill, Surrey. Wonder if he still owns it? Where is it now? Are there UK Bucker people who know?
Enjoy
Brian
Update:
Here's a link to UK CAA info on G-BECW with a link to registration history since it was put on UK register.
http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?catid=60&pagetype=65&appid=1&mode=detailnosummary&fullregmark=BECW
It looks as though G-BECW is "resting" since a collision on the ground
with a Stolp Starduster in 2006. Accident report at can be found via
Google.
If you go to "Search Again" you can bring up all current UK registered
Jungmann (34 in total). Lots of useful info there. Also deregistered
aircraft can be viewed as an option.
Cheers!
