Don was 83 years old and is survived by son Lindy, and daughters Ryan, and Kim.  Don flew airshows in both a Ryan STA and his Bucker. He has owned many historic aircraft: 3 Ryan STA's, a Ryan SCW, a PT-22, two Cessna Airmasters, a Rose Parakeet , a Curtis Model 19R, and an  Ercoupe. Don was working on his Jungmeister's Siemens engine lately and had it running again just two weks ago.

He also collected classic convertibles cars such as the 55-57 Chevy's, Buicks etc,  as well as Military Vehicles and motorcycles. His motorcyle collection included antique Indians and Harleys, a military BMW, and several new Harleys. Add his gun collection and you see that Don wasa serious collectorand one of a kind.

Thanks to Bill Ewertz and John Hickman for the update.
