Jim White’s plane is in the covering stage with the tail group already covered. The fuselage is almost complete and ready to cover. Pictures show the sheet metal is finished.

We have also completed the gear modification that I have come up with years ago. I now have over three thousand hours plus on the one’s modified with no cracking of dope.

I now also have manufactured the tooling to make the cockpit door blanks. These can be furnished in .032” or .025”. I am working on the cockpit windscreens and have the mold for these almost finished. The prototypes are already installed on Jim’s plane and seem to fit well on most frames that I have.  We will be able to furnish both front and back windscreens soon, I will have sets available at the fly in.

John and I are looking forward to having the National Bucker Fly-In here at San Diego. We have many things to do for all that attend (fly outs, museums and things for the wives- shopping, zoo, Seaworld). We are planning to have it more like the old days as there will be a lot events at the airport.

We have facilities for many to sleep in rooms at the hangars and our homes. It will be great to see all of the old attendee’s again. Some who have even sold their Buckers will be attending. John, myself and our dads will look forward to your attendance.
