We have had a really poor summer in the North UK, opportunities to fly in to destinations at weekends have been few, a number of events have been cancelled. When we received an invite to fly into RAF Woodvale on the East Lancashire coast to celebrate the christening of one of the guys grandson GEORGE we were happy to oblige.
The holiday weather was very kind for this day only, with our noisy arrival and departure George seemed to enjoy it. Great opportunity to fly a three ship formation return to our home field in Sleap, Shropshire which is North Midlands. Hope you like the photographs.
