Congratulation go to Richard Epton, whose beautiful Bestmann won a trophy for "Most Unique Classic" aircraft at the Sun & Fun fly-in at Lakeland, Florida last week.
As Richard continues to work on the details of the aircraft, I'm sure we are are going to see more and more awards going his way.
This Bestmann was built in Czechoslovakia as a Z181 and now has a Joe Krybus installed LOM332 engine with a constant speed prop.
Formerly owned by Joe Morriarty, I had the honor of ferrying N94245 from Phoenix to it's current home in Brooks, GA where this picture was taken.
Congratulations Richard!
