Clay Lacy is a remarkable American airman. His career took him from co-pilot on a DC3 to captain on a 747 and about everything in between. He was a strong proponent of the Learjet, flew a DC8 with a "human fly" wing walker (actually fuselage walker) and developed the Astrovision system for air to air cinematography.

A biography was published recently but although a good read the short book is rather expensive at $175 a copy.

Happily you can read it for free though. It is available as a PDF download from the Lacy Aviation website here.
