As temperatures in Western Europe soared to over 100 degrees F (38 C)  Gilles Tatry flew to Lake "La Ganguise" in the far south of France to enjoy the waters. If you are going to suffer the temperature of the African plains, you might as well go find the scenery to take some "Out of Africa"  style pictures :)







The lake is actually man-made and was constructed in the late 1970s to provide water for the cereal crops grown in the region.
